Big Impact Records was started in 1995 and is located in northern Indiana/U.S.A.
I Started playing Drums at the young age of 8 at 12 I moved to Guitar and Synths around 20 I started singing.
Some of the Music here at DMusic is from the 3 "Kommon Ground" Rock CDs(36 songs)I did in the late 90's.I picked my favorites out of the 70+ songs recorded during this time.
I started recording songs at L.S.D "Lyon's sound deluxe" in the late 80's and early 90's Burning up hundreds of hours of tape,It was just the thing to do on the weekends gather around with other locals and record live jams.
In the Mid 90's I built my first home studio and B.I.R Big Impact Records was born.
Being the mid 90's everything was still tape,I still belive tape has a warmth and mid range quality that cant be replaced...but thats all I miss about tape.
These days we are runing full blow Digital,High quality Mic's,and unlimited Tracks!
